This evening I had the pleasure to photograph a company party with a Masquerade theme. This was one of the most enjoyable events I’ve worked on in a while. The setting was formal, hosted at the Hilton Minneapolis, but the mood was all fun!

A Beautiful Winter Wedding in Wisconsin
Juan and Jasmyn hosted a beautiful winter wedding on a clear and frosty day this past December. Toni and I had a great time capturing all of the details. We began at Jasmyn’s hair dresser’s, who’s shop is on the lower level of her gorgeous house.

JSP at Artstart’s ArtGallery
The opening at ArtStart’s ArtGallery on Sunday, Nov 9th was a success! There was a great turnout, a few pieces were sold and I was able to meet several local artists as well as many people from the community. There are still may pieces on display, the exhibit will run through the second week of January.

Still Life Photography Exhibit – ArtStart of St. Paul

www… Version 2.0 is here!
I am so excited to talk about the new and improved JSP Website. Last night we launched the second installment of the website with a few much needed technical adjustments and some fun design improvements. My oh so talented web designer (which happens to be my dear older brother) pulled it off effortlessly. I watch and directed as the new site seemed to just materialize out of thin air right before my eyes (actually out of my brothers genius, but don’t tell him I said that… ;o) ). Back to School
Yes, it’s that time again…. fresh notebooks, newly sharpened no. 2 pencils, and senior portraits. This past weekend marked the un-official start of Senior Portrait season for JSP. I was able to accompany a new photographer in training on one of her first jobs, senior portraits for our beautiful subject, Alex. We headed out to the Dodge Nature Center in West St. Paul, MN and strolled through the beautiful scenic grounds in search of the perfect photo opt spot. The weather cooperated, albeit hot, and we got some beautiful pictures. I’m looking forward to taking many more seniors there in the future.
