A New Little Life

Well, the maternity photos for my friend were shot just in time. Just hours after leaving her house, off to the hospital they went. I joined them early on Sunday morning and spent the day anxiously awaiting the beginning of a little life….

Her two boys were so patient and would breathe through each contraction with their mom…

As labor was getting intense, I distracted the boys for some time by taking silly pictures…

And in the end, all are healthy and doing well. Welcome to the world little baby. You are so loved. :o)

Anticipation….

This past Saturday I co-hosted a baby shower for a dear friend of mine. When the shower ended, we did a few portraits of the belly and the family together. This family with three boys is very eagerly awaiting the arrival of a baby girl. She is already dearly loved by her parents and protected by her big brothers. We cant wait to see her….

Mike & Val – 8.8.09 Wedding

I wanted to share a few photos from a recent wedding. Mike and Val’s wedding was hosted at the historic Minneapolis City Hall & Courthouse. It is a beautiful building, perfect for a wedding. The weather didn’t cooperate so much this day, it was unbelievably hot and humid, but the wedding was beautiful and lots of fun. Here are a few of my favorite shots so far…

Update: A New Avenue

Fine Art – A New Beginning

I’ve always had a strong attraction to Fine Art Photography and I’ve been gearing up to dive into it myself. Today I’ve finished my first piece. I’m thrilled with it’s completion and I am anxious to begin work on a few more pieces.

Engagements – Mike & Val

Whew! I’ve been busy! So busy I don’t know where to start. Well, this past weekend, I had the pleasure to take engagement photos for a sweet couple, Mike & Val. We were out at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden & Cowles Conservatory. We had beautiful weather, clear blue skies, and a soft breeze. Here’s a sneak peek at the session. I can’t wait to dive into more of these photos.
